30 Minute Intro Flight

With our 30 minute intro flight, students can have their first experience at becoming a pilot. Under the guidance of one of our instructors, you will be assisted in flying the aircraft. This hands-on experience will introduce you to the airplane’s flight controls.

1 hr discovery flight

Colorado Flight School wants to welcome you to the world of aviation! In one of our Cessna 182s, you will have a FAA certified flight instructor assisting you. The instructor will perform as much of the flight as is necessary for safety, but will teach you how to takeoff and you will do almost all of the flying yourself!

A Discovery Flight is designed for you to discover the joy of flight. If you are curious about flying and becoming a pilot but you’re not quite sure, a discovery flight is a great start. Discovery flights can also offer you the experience of flying in a single engine airplane. Your pilot will be one of Colorado Flight School FAA Certified Flight Instructors. They will show you how to pre-flight the airplane. Then you’ll climb aboard and start the engine. In just a few minutes you will find yourself floating gently off the ground and into the exciting world of flying for 1 (one) hour.

Please give us as much advance notice as possible so that we may plan your flight for the best use of your time.

A Photo ID for each person (TSA rules)
Your camera, plenty of memory space

2 hr “I want to be a pilot”

The “I really want to Fly an Airplane” package gives you one flight lesson. This package is for 1.5 hours of flight training. Accompanied by 30 minutes of dual ground instruction. If you want a logbook endorsement from your flight instructor, we will need proof of US Citizenship.
